Ingredients

  • Beef mince — 100g extra lean
  • Salt — 1 tsp
  • Pepper — 1 tsp
  • Low-fat cheese — 25g, shredded
  • Turkey ham — 20g sliced (about 2 thin slices)
  • Egg — 1 large
  • High-fibre soft round roll — 1
  • Sriracha — 1 tbsp
  • Baby spinach — 15g

Directions

  1. 1

Divide the beef mince into two 50g portions and shape each into a thin patty.

  2. 2

Season both patties with salt and pepper, then place the shredded cheese in the centre of one patty. Lay the second patty on top and press the edges together firmly to seal.

  3. 3

Cook the stuffed patty in a non-stick pan over high heat for 5 minutes each side.

  4. 4

In the same pan, fry the egg and cook the ham slices until heated through.

  5. 5

Build the burger: spread sriracha on the roll, add the spinach, then stack the patty, egg and ham. Eat immediately.
