Ingredients

  • Banana — 150g (1 cup), frozen, sliced
  • Milk — 120g (1/2 cup), any kind
  • Vanilla protein powder — 1 scoop (31g)
  • Oats — 20g (1/4 cup), rolled
  • Natural sweetener — 1 tbsp, optional
  • Walnuts — 8g (1 tbsp), or pecans, chopped
  • Cinnamon — 1/4 tsp, ground
  • Xanthan gum — 1/8 tsp
  • Salt — a pinch

Directions

    Add the frozen banana to a blender, then the milk, protein, oats, sweetener, nuts, cinnamon, xanthan gum and salt.

    Blend for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy.

    Pour into a glass and top with a little cinnamon or chopped nuts.
